Jackson, MI.- The Monroe Community College Women's Soccer team kicked off their regular season this past weekend in Jackson, Michigan when they faced off against Iowa Western Friday afternoon and Jackson College on Saturday. The Tribunes fought hard against the Iowa Western Reivers but dropped their first game 2-0. Monroe came back for game two with a 5-0 win over the Jets.
Game 1:
Addison Carr had six saves in goal.
Game 2:
Anna Berger and Sierra Edwards had two goals each for the Tribunes.
Freshman, Mikayla Morelli had the fifth goal for Monroe.
The Tribunes play in their home opener on Wednesday, August 25th at 12 pm at MCC.
