ROCHESTER, NY - The Onondaga Community College women's lacrosse team scored 30-seconds into double-overtime, topping the Monroe Community College Tribunes 13-12, in NJCAA Region III women's lacrosse action Saturday afternoon at John L. Dimarco Field. It was a back-and-forth game with neither team taking more than a two-goal lead the entire way. Down 12-11 late in the fourth Angelina Soeffing scored with under six-minutes remaining to send the game into overtime.
Macey DeOrdio scored the game-winner in the second OT to secure the victory for the Lazers.
Skye Gaudio led the attack for the Tribunes finishing with four goals and an assist. Kate Oxley, Soeffing, and Janelle Hunzek all scored two goals, while Michaela Neelin and Maddie Hoffman each netted one goal a piece to round out the scoring.
Riley Bready finished with 13 saves in the loss.
