Monroe drops home game to Bobcats, 65-82
Rochester, NY.- The Monroe Community College women's basketball team welcomed the Bryant & Stratton Syracuse Bobcats to MCC Saturday afternoon for their seventh matchup of the season. Coming from a close 74-68 loss at Niagara County CC on Wednesday, the Tribunes were hoping to secure a win. Sophmore, Michaela Neelin led MCC with 18 points, going 2 for 4 in three pointers and 6 for 8 in free throws. Unfortunately, Monroe couldn't catch up in points and fell to the Bobcats, 65-82. With the loss, the Tribunes move to 2-5 on the season.
Game Highlights:
Freshman, Khamera Muhammad finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Lundyn Benjamin secured three assists and three steals for Monroe.
The Tribunes have a short break but will be back to play on December 3rd and 4th when they head to Jamestown Community College to face off against Wayne County CC and CCBC Catonsville.
