MCC Welcomes Emily Peets as Head Women's Lacrosse Coach
Rochester, NY.- The Monroe Community College Department of Athletics is excited to the announce the addition of Emily Peets as the new Head Coach of the women's lacrosse program.
Emily is a Pittsford Sutherland graduate where she played on the lacrosse team there. She played lacrosse at MCC, winning 2 regional titles, and 1 national title. She later signed to play Division I lacrosse at Delaware State University. Emily was ranked 6th in the nation for her draw control. After graduating from Delaware in 2015 she started the Division II lacrosse program at Davis and Elkins college. She took the team to the conference semi-final in her first season. From 2016-2018 she coached high school lacrosse and soccer while teaching at Dover High School. From there she was an assistant coach for three years at Delaware State University, specializing in midfield, attack and draw control. Emily spent the last few years as the head coach for Monster Elite Lacrosse before accepting the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach here at MCC this February.
