Monroe Ends Regular Season as WNYAC Champions

Rochester, NY. - The Monroe Community College volleyball team welcomed Genesee CC, Niagara County CC, Jamestown CC and Erie CC to the WNYAC Tournament that MCC hosted this past weekend. The Tribunes went 4-0 with wins against all four teams.

Game Highlights:

  • Monroe won 2-0 over Genesee with scores of 25-15 and 25-11.
  • The Tribunes defeated Niagara in two sets with a score of 25-11 and 25-12.
  • Monroe finished with a 2-0 win over Jamestown, 25-19 and 25-18.
  • In the final game for the Lady Tribunes, they won in two sets 25-15 and 25-23 over Erie.

 Congrats to our four Tribunes who made All-Conference team:

Madison Farnsworth, Claudia Hardie and Alexa Filicia also made All-Tournament team.

 

Monroe will be traveling to Niagara County CC this weekend to compete in the Regional Tournament against Erie CC on Saturday, October 30th at 1 pm.
