ROCHESTER - The MCC volleyball team wrapped up the home portion of its schedule with a four-set victory over Erie Community College in a Western New York Athletic Conference match Thursday evening.
The Tribunes (15-7) prevailed 25-22, 22-25, 26-24, 25-21 on an evening when they honored their lone sophomore, Riley Moscicki.
Monroe was dominant at the net all evening, totaling 22 blocks to help keep the Kat attack at bay. Stephany Paredes had four solo blocks and seven overall, while Moscicki added six blocks to go along with seven kills.
Hannah DeLorenzo had 15 kills, 14 assists, and 14 digs for the triple-double. Julie Cicotta added 10 blocks and 11 digs, and Catherine Brumsted tallied five kills, nine digs, and 20 assists.
Kierstin Hammond chipped in with four kills, four aces, and 19 digs, and Maryssa Greer had 17 digs.
