ROCHESTER, NY - The Women's Monroe Community College Soccer Program took care of business against their conference rivals, SUNY Niagara Thunderwolves, in a 10-1 victory. The offensive performance from the second half of their victory over Harford College only continued to increase, thanks in large part to a four-goal performance by Sofia Martins (Lisbon, Portugal).
Other notable performances include a two-goal performance from Olivia Paterniti (Alleghany, NY) and Sam Cipolla's (Rochester, NY) five assists. The game was eventually stopped after 70 minutes, but not before Thunderwolves Samantha Furan, assisted by Alison Gibson, would score a consolation goal on an under-fielded MCC.
The Lady Tribunes will look to continue this dominance on Sept. 11th as take on the Jayhawks of Jamestown Community College.
