#6 Tribunes Cruise to 4-0 Win Over #5 Cougars

ROCHESTER N.Y. - The #6 Nationally Ranked Monroe Community College's women's soccer team dominated their game against Genesee Community College with a final score of 4-0. The victory improved Monroe's season record to 8-2-0.

The game started off strong for Monroe, with Breanna DeHond scoring the first goal at the 4:23 mark with an assist from Paige Taylor. This gave Monroe an early lead of 1-0. The team continued to dominate, with Kayla Baca scoring an unassisted goal at the 25:20 mark, extending Monroe's lead to 2-0. In the second half, Monroe maintained their momentum. Anna Deutscher scored the team's third goal at the 74:09 mark, with an assist from Laila Malcolm. This goal increased Monroe's lead to 3-0. Shortly after, Caitlin Nelson scored the fourth and final goal of the game at the 76:14 mark, with an assist from Sutsadah Khounpacham, securing Monroe's victory with a final score of 4-0.

Monroe dominated in terms of shots, with a total of 20 shots compared to Genesee's one shot. Monroe's strong offense was met with equally impressive defense, as their goalkeepers, Jillian Groff and Juliet Marino, did not allow any goals and made a combined total of 12 saves.
