Rochester, NY - The Monroe Community College women's soccer team battled their way to a 3-2 victory over the visiting Bryant & Stratton Bobcats. With the win, Monroe improves to 3-0-1 on the season.
Freshman, Autumn Edwards started the scoring for Monroe finishing a pass from Gaia Iacuzzi giving the Tribunes the lead. Shortly after Iacuzzi came back with a goal with an assist from Edwards giving them a 2-0 lead.
Alexis Weldy had the winning goal for Monroe finishing a pass from Sierra Edwards.
Monroe returns to action Saturday when they welcome Albany School of Pharmacy for a 1 pm kick-off.
