Isaacs, Beatson lead Monroe into regional finals
MCC will take on host Onondaga on Sunday for the crown.

SYRACUSE - Dana Isaacs and Nicole Beatson had four goals apiece to lead the top-seeded MCC women's lacrosse team to a 16-2 victory over fourth-seeded Jefferson Community College in the semifinals of the Region III tournament Saturday.
The Tribunes (15-0) will take on host Onondaga CC at 1 p.m. Sunday for the regional. With their semifinal wins, both MCC and OCC earned automatic bids into next weekend's NJCAA national tournament in Rochester.
Monroe wasted little time taking control over Jefferson on Saturday. The Tribunes scored four timesin the first 10 minutes and held a 13-0 edge at the half.
Isaacs and Beatson proved too much for the Cannoneer defense to handle. Beatson also added a pair of assists to finish with six points on the afternoon.
Dana Kiselica and Elle MacMillan chipped in with two goals apiece and Christie Hahn added a goal and four assists. Kendall Skuse and Taylor Excell each tallied a goal and an assist, and Zoe Hendricks scored once.
Sarah Brown made nine saves in a stellar effort in goal for Monroe.
