Tribune Softball Finishes Third Overall at 2025 NJCAA DIII World Series

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Monroe Community College Tribune Softball Program's season came to an end at the hands of the #1 Seed, North Dakota College of Science by a score of 7-1.
It was a pitcher's duel for the first four innings of the World Series Semi-Final Matchup between the Wildcats and the Tribunes.
The scoring began in the fifth inning when NDSC tallied four runs.and they didn't look back from that point.
The Wildcats would tally three more runs in the bottom half of the sixth inning to extend their 7-0 lead.
In the top of the seventh inning Kaydence Morrissette (Cato, NY( single sharply on a line drive to center scoring Reagan Bannister to make the score 7-1.
However, a late Tribune rally was halted in the final frame, ending the Tribunes incredible postseason run
Three Tribunes were named to the 2025 All-Tournament Team:

- Brooklyn Downey | SO | OF
- Reagan Bannister | FR | C / INF
For the Tribunes they will look ahead to the 2025-26 season and look to build on their astonishing 2025 Season, finishing with a record of 28-9 and as North B District / Regional Champions.
