Freshman Benjamin Brundage Performs at NJCAA Half-Marathon National Championships

Freshman Benjamin Brundage shines for Monroe CC at NJCAA Nationals, completing a half-marathon in 1:29:48.

HENRICO, VA - MCC Freshman Benjamin Brundage (Hamlin, NY) showcased his grit and determination at the NJCAA Half-Marathon National Championships. Clocking a final time of 1:29:48.2, Brundage maintained an average pace of 6:51.3 per mile, demonstrating strong endurance across the course, and earning a 159th place finish.

Though the competition was fierce, Brundage's performance stood out as a testament to his potential and the strength of Monroe Community College's program. As a freshman, his showing hints at a bright future in collegiate cross-country and distance running.

With this race complete, so is the inaugural 2024 Cross-Country season. Congratulations to this year's runners for their hard work and their achievements.
