Men's Swim and Dive Narrowly Falls to Brockport in Dual Meet
ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Tribunes swimming and diving teams celebrated their Sophomores in front of a home crowd while also playing host to the Golden Eagles of SUNY Brockport on Friday night. The men's team lost 139-89, while the women's team lost 208-14.
Taking a look at the men's side of the pool, these are a few key highlights from the meet.
Michael Rose won the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 59.81.
Henrique Silva-Baltazar picked up wins in both the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:05.99, and the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:05.47. He also picked up a second place finish in the 100 yard IM with a time of 57.16, just .02 behind the first place finisher.
Ryan Campbell won the 1 meter diving with a final score of 288.83. He also won the 3 meter diving with a final score of 288.53.
The 400 yard freestyle relay squad of Michael Rose, Logan Chaffee, Max Curtis, and Connor Moran grabbed a second place finish with a time of 3:42.04.
On the women's side of the pool, these are a few of the key highlights from the meet.
Jillian Sauer grabbed a second place finish in the 1 meter dive with a final score of 189.00.
Camryn Smith grabbed a fourth place finish in the 100 yard IM with a time of 1:25.56.
Peyton Dodge grabbed a fourth place finish in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 1:09.91.
The MCC Tribunes will have their final dual meet on Saturday, February 3rd in Oswego against the SUNY Oswego Lakers.
