UTICA, NY - The #18 ranked MCC men's soccer team drew with the #8 ranked Hawks of Mohawk Valley Community College 0-0. In what quickly became a battle, the ranked match-up had all the makings of a season preview except for a winner.
Both teams had chances to break the tie, but neither could take advantage. To their credit, the Tribunes were able to create more chances, forcing Hawks' keeper Jaime Mata to save eight shots on goal, compared to just three for the Tribs' Matthew Rossi's (Toronto, ON).
The Tribunes will look to finish with a win in their next contest versus New Rochelle's Monroe University.
