Alan Garcia (Bronx, NY) grabbed 9 rebounds to complement his 11 points, while Baez delivered a clutch performance, scoring 20 points and hitting critical free throws late in the game.
Rebounding and defense ultimately preserved the win for Monroe. The Tribunes dominated the boards with a 46-24 rebounding advantage, led by Tyson, who tallied a double-double with 14 rebounds and 12 points.
