#12 Tribunes Overpower Jayhawks, Start 2-0 in WNYAC Competition

BRIGHTON N.Y. - The #12 Nationally Ranked Monroe Community College Men's Basketball Team defeated Jamestown Community College with a final score of 91-74.

Monroe Community College dominated the first half, scoring 49 points compared to Jamestown Community College's 32 points. They continued their strong performance in the second half, matching Jamestown's score of 42 points. The final score reflected Monroe Community College's superior performance throughout the game.

Jhamien Smith of Jamestown Community College was the leading scorer for his team, contributing 26 points. He made 10 out of 18 field goals, including 3 out of 5 three-pointers. Smith also grabbed 8 rebounds and had 5 assists. Samad Bailey was the second-highest scorer for Jamestown with 14 points.

For Monroe Community College, Terrell Williams contributed 11 points, while Omar White led the team with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Treymaire Dodd and Ibrahima Bah also made significant contributions, scoring 14 and 11 points respectively.
