Monroe CC Announces Completion of State-of-the-Art Turf Softball Field
ROCHESTER N.Y. - Monroe Community College (MCC) is proud to announce the completion of our groundbreaking construction on the $1.5 million new cutting-edge softball field set to elevate the athletic experience for its students and community members. With an investment of $1.5 million, this project marks a significant milestone in MCC's commitment to excellence in sports and education.
The new softball field boasts top-of-the-line amenities. These include state-of-the-art artificial turf, modern dugouts designed for comfort and functionality, home and away bullpens, a storage area, a hitting tunnel, and a new scoreboard. This development underscores MCC's dedication to providing its athletes with top-of-the-line facilities for training and competition.
Aaron Bouyea, MCC's Director of Athletics, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Monroe Community College Association Board for their pivotal role in this endeavor. The new turf will feature it's first official game in the Spring of 2025 when the Tribunes Softball Program opens its season!
