Monroe Community College Athletics Announces Addition of Men's & Women's Cross Country
Rochester, N.Y. - Monroe Community College (MCC) athletics is excited to announce the addition of men's and women's cross country teams, beginning in the upcoming fall semester of 2024.
Aaron Bouyea, MCC's Athletic Director, commented, "We are delighted to introduce men's and women's cross country to our athletics program at MCC. This initiative not only broadens our athletic offerings but also provides local and regional cross-country student-athletes with opportunities to compete at a higher level."
There are over 70 high school programs across Monroe County and Section V. MCC will compete at the NJCAA Division III level in Region III against NY state community colleges – Clinton, Hudson Valley, Broome, Fulton-Montgomery, Finger Lakes, Corning, Erie, Tompkins Cortland, Onondaga, Jefferson, Herkimer, and Mohawk Valley.
