Swimming and Diving Stay in the Hunt After Day Three
BUFFALO, NY - The Monroe Community College women's swimming and diving team trails by 20 points after the third day of competition at the NJCAA Swimming and Diving National Championship. The Tribs trail only Jamestown Community College heading into the final evening of competition.
Kelsey Hucks and Shelby Nerber started the evening for the Tribs in the 100 Yard IM finishing 11th and 12th with times of 1:13.78 and 1:14.03 respectively.
Berfin Gul secured an important point in the 500 Freestyle finishing 16th with a time of 7:09.92.
McKenna Briggs led the 100 Breaststroke with a 10th place finish while Kara Williamson turned in a 12th place finish.
The 200 Medley Relat team swam by Briggs, Williamson, Nerber, and Autumn Collins finished seventh with a time of 2:01.46.
