ROCHESTER - A trio of double winners led the way as the MCC women's swimming and diving team defeated Roberts Wesleyan 96-71 in a non-league meet Wednesday evening.

Ashley VanDermeer, Alicia Shenal, and Emily DeClerck all won twice to pace Monroe. VanDermeer took first in the 1650 (19:36.26) and the 100 fly (1:10.99), and Shenal won the 200 IM (2:22.91) and 100 free (55.68).

DeClerck touched first in the 50 free (27.98) and 100 back (1:10.28).

DeClerck and Shenal teamed with Jasmine VanScooter and Gabrielle Willard to win the 400 medley relay in a time of 4:38.84.
