Batavia, NY.- The Mornoe Community College women's soccer team earned themselves a win lastnight over the #4 nationally ranked Genesee Cougars. Monroe claimed their lead in the first half 2-0 but Genesee was able to come back and add a score to the board the begininng of the second half. Sophomore, Sierra Edwards was the only scorer for the Tribunes with all three goals giving them the 3-2 win.
Game Highlights:
Edwards was assisted by Abie LaRocca.
Goalie, Addison Carr had seven saves in goal.
Kelsey Fuller scored both goals for Genesee.
Monroe is back to play on Thursday, October 14th when they welcome Mohawk Valley for a 4 pm matchup.
