Tribunes Fall to Lazers on the Road 72-46

SYRACUSE N.Y. - The Monroe Community College Women's Basketball team traveled to take on the Lazers of Onondaga Community College and were defeated 72-46.

The first quarter saw Onondaga take the lead with a score of 19-11. Monroe managed to close the gap and the second quarter ended with a score of 31-23 in favor of Onondaga. However, Onondaga extended their lead in the third quarter, scoring 17 points compared to Monroe's 12. The final quarter was also dominated by Onondaga, who scored 24 points while Monroe scored 11. For Monroe, Tylah Langley led the Tibunes in scoring with 14 points. Shariona Blocker added 10 points and Kennedy Young had 9 points. Avianna Baker led all scorers with 18 points for Onondaga, Precious Gabriel scored 10 points, and Tori Jacobs and Kate Graingers each tallied 10 points.
