Rochester, NY.- Earlier this afternoon MCC women's basketball team recognized their sole sophomore, Isabella DeRubeis before going head-to-head with Niagara County CC. Not only was the sophomore spotlight on DeRubeis, but she led the team offensively scoring 16. Unfortunately, Monroe couldn't keep up and fell 54-74.
Natalina Rainford and Jordan Loewke each finished with 12 rebounds for the Tribunes.
With the loss, MCC is now 2-12 on the season. They're back on the court next Saturday for their final home contest when they welcome the Jamestown Jayhawks at 1 pm.
