ROCHESTER - Tolulope Ogunrinde led seven players in double figures with 20 points as the MCC women's basketball team cruised to a 102-27 victory over visiting Erie Community College Tuesday evening on Monagan Court.
Ogunrinde scored 14 of her game-high total in the opening 20 minutes as the Tribunes (3-0 WNYAC; 17-1 overall) raced to a 60-11 lead at the break. Ogunrinde also added seven rebounds and four steals.
MCC outrebounded Erie 53-24 and forced 38 turnovers.
Deja Carroll scored 14 points to go along with eight assists, four rebounds, and four steals for Monroe. Jasmine Davis chipped in with 13 points and six boards.
Bailey Hixson and Kiki Bynes scored 11 points apiece, and Bailey Hixson and Rose Ayala both had 10 for the Tribunes. Ayala added six rebounds and four blocks.
Adre'onia Coleman pulled down 10 rebounds.
