Robinson earns All-American honors
The sophomore point guard is lauded by both the WBCA and NJCAA.
ROCHESTER - MCC sophomore Karin Robinson (Queens, NY/Mary Louis Academy) was honored as an All-American by both the Women's Basketball Coaches Association and the National Junior College Athletic Association.
Robinson, a 5-foot-7 point guard, was named first team All-American by the WBCA and honorable mention by the NJCAA.
Robinson averaged 10.5 points, 4.0 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.1 steals per game for the Lady Tribunes, who finished 23-6 and reached the semifinals of the District C tournament.
She had a season-high 23 points to along with nine rebounds and six assists in a win over Alfred State on Jan. 19. One of Robinson's most complete games came in a victory over Erie on Feb. 16, when she totaled 16 points, eight rebounds, six steals, and three assists.
