Cocoa Beach, FL.- Monroe Community College softball team watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 4-3 loss to Hocking College Softball on Friday. Amber Gerringer led things off on the rubber for the Tribunes. The righthander surrendered three runs on five hits over two innings, walking one. Jen Maysuch threw five innings in relief. Monroe smacked one home run on the day. Maysuch went yard in the fifth inning. Maysuch led the team with two hits in three at bats. The Tribunes sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Gerringer made the most plays with 15.
