Utica, NY.- Monroe men's soccer team traveled to Mohawk Valley Community College yesterday morning for a 2 pm match vs the Hawks and brought home a tough 4-0 loss. With the loss the Tribunes move to 0-2-1 on the season while Mohawk advances to 2-0.
Alvaro Gambara, Nicholas Lewis and Douglas Yanes all scored for the Hawks. Yanes had two back to back goals in the second half.
Matt Bamford had four shots on goal for Monroe.
The Tribunes are back in action Friday, April 23rd when they host Niagara County Community College at home at 1:30 pm.
