Rochester, NY - The Monroe Community College men's soccer team returned to action on Friday afternoon, playing to 0-0 draw against Herkimer College in the season opener for both squads. Defense was stingy on both ends with Herkimer grabbing the edge in shots on goal 4-0. Tribune goalie Bernardo Alvarado made two game-saving saves in the final minutes of play to preserve the draw for Monroe.
The Tribunes return to action on Friday, April 9th when they welcome Cayuga Community College to campus at 3pm at John L. Dimarco Field. No spectators are currently permitted.
