ROCHESTER, NY - Colin Boglione finished with 12 goals and four assists to lead the Monroe Community College men's lacrosse team to a 31-0 shutout victory over Mohawk Valley on Saturday afternoon at John L. Dimarco Field. With the victory, the Tribunes improve to 1-4 on the year. Boglione's 12 goals set the single-game record for MCC previously set by Jack Cummings in 2020. Owen Infantino earned the win in goal for the Tribs finishing with four saves.
Steven Laframboise added six goals and seven assists, while Ian Kane added four goals and six assists to lead the scoring attack for Monroe. Michael DiMarco, Jamie Tackley, Daniel Kennedy, Cody Mayer, John Verrioli (2), Jake Hamilton (2), and Zach Cole rounded out the 10 different scorers for MCC.
The Tribunes return to action on Friday, March 31st when they travel to Canandaigua to take on Finger Lakes Community College at 4pm.
