#16 Tribunes Fall to #6 Ranked Herkimer 71-67

HERKIMER N.Y. - The #16 Monroe Community College Men's Basketball Team fell on the road to Herkimer in the first game of two at a weekend tourney in Herkimer 71-67. It was a back-and-forth affair for the majority of the contest with neither team pulling out to a substantial lead. The Tribunes led by two at the break 30-28 behind a solid defensive performance. Both offenses caught fire in the second half, however, it was a 43-point second-half barrage from the Generals that would give them the narrow four-point victory. 

Offensively for the Tribunes, four players finished the game in double-digits scoring and three players tied with a team-high of 13 points (Williams, White, and Ellison). Terrell Williams recorded his eighth double-double of the season (Third Straight) and leads the the Tribunes in four Major Stat Categories: 15.1 PPG | 9.6 REB | 4.1 AST | 2.5 STL. The Tribunes will look to right the ship tomorrow when they take on the #17-ranked Sullivan Generals.
