ROCHESTER N.Y. - The Monroe CC Men's Basketball defeated Cecil College 69-56 at their home opener of the Annual Murph Shapiro Classic Tournament. It was a back and forth first half between the Tribunes and Seahawks leabing the score tied 30-30 at halftime. The Tribunes would outscore Cecil by 13 points in the second half to secure their first home win of the season. In the previous week Cecil College had been receiving votes in the NJCAA Divison Two Men's Basketball Rankings. Elroy Clark was a major driving force for the Tribs offensivley scoring 15 points on 4-6 shooting from three.
