ROCHESTER - Kewan Platt had 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the MCC men's basketball team to an 86-70 victory over Jamestown Community College in a Western New York Athletic Conference tilt Wednesday evening.
The Tribunes move to 5-0 in the conference and 10-3 overall.
Platt led four in double figures as Monroe won for the eighth time in nine games. Noah West chipped in with 16 points, eight rebounds and four assists, while Mike Kelly Jr. tallied 13 points. Gilberto Cue had 10.
Brien Wilson had another solid game in the post for MCC. The sophomore finished with nine points, six rebounds, and four blocked shots. Wes Nelson Jr. chipped in with eight points and Omari Brown scored seven.
