Rochester, NY - MCC continued their hot start to the season taking the first two games of a four-game set from Erie Community College 10-2 and 8-7 to improve to 6-0 on the young season. Tyler Smith threw a complete game in game one, tossing seven innings while striking out six to earn his first victory of the year. Evan Magill stayed hot finishing 2-4 with four RBI's including a towering homerun to right field to pace the offense.
Game Two:
Tribunes held off a seventh-inning attack from Erie to secure the 8-7 victory in game two. Dillon Higgins earned the victory on the mound for MCC who improved to 6-0 on the year. Ben Beauchamp and Max Schmarder led the offense from the top of the line up finishing 2-4 each, while Avery Bowens added a three-run homerun to dead center. Patrick May also homered for the Tribunes.
