ROCHESTER - The Lackawanna College Falcons came to Tribune Field and took two games from Monroe Community College in a non-league baseball doubleheader Sunday afternoon.

Lackawanna came out swinging in game one as Zac Granger singled and Ryan Cole doubled to put two runners in scoring position with no outs. Ian Diaz and John Crane followed with RBI singles to make it 2-0.
The Falcons tacked on four runs in the third, taking advantage of three Tribune errors as well as a two-run single by Cole.
Monroe (4-10) got a pair of runs back to cut into the lead. Jose Ramos hit a two-out double to left center in the bottom of the second, and TJ Lucey followed with an RBI two-bagger to get MCC on the board. The Tribunes made it 6-2 in the bottom of the third, as Trey Brown rocketed a solo homer to left for his first collegiate roundtripper.
