Director of Athletics Aaron Bouyea Named to NACDA Executive Committee and Education Planning Sub-Committee
Rochester, NY - Monroe Community College (MCC) is proud to announce that Aaron Bouyea, Director of Athletics, has been appointed to the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) Executive Committee. Additionally, Bouyea will serve on the NACDA Education Planning Sub-Committee, contributing to the development of educational programming for the association's key events.
NACDA, the largest association of collegiate athletics administrators, comprises more than 22,000 members representing over 2,200 institutions across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The association includes athletics directors, associate and assistant athletics directors, conference commissioners, and affiliate individuals or corporations.
The NACDA Executive Committee, which Bouyea will join, is made up of representatives from the College and University Divisions, the Junior/Community College Division, and several at-large members. This committee plays a crucial role in guiding the association's initiatives and ensuring it meets the needs of its diverse membership.
As a member of the NACDA Education Planning Sub-Committee, Bouyea will assist in planning relevant educational programming and securing diverse speakers for NACDA's Annual Convention, Spring Symposium, and Fall Forum. This committee is instrumental in providing valuable educational opportunities and fostering networking and information exchange among athletics administrators.
